I believe the album title is I Go Wild, it was on EPIC Records.  He was wearing a aqua leather outfit on the front of the album, I believe the back was black.  The only single to come of the album was I Go Wild.  I think the executive producer was Rick James

William , how can you call yourself an expert on the 80s black music scene ?... the person that asked the question pertaining to Jak was correct in their description of the artist and his album cover. I too was also trying to find more on the artist since  I too have misplaced the album that I purchased in Fort Riley, Kansas in 1985. The song  " Sixty-Nine  " was the only song that had airplay, it was a slow, sexy and melodic song that had a sense of sadness for a guy to be asking a female to do a 69 in love making. I hope I have schooled you on this question of this artist.

That's funny I purchased Jak's album when I was in Alaska I believe in 1983. I, like a fool gave it to an associate, because he was a DJ while in Fairbanks. I've looked for the album periodically to no avail. I was recently telling my girlfriend about the song was hoping to share it with her. Lord's knows I can't sing.

I remember seeing his records in every Wherehouse and Tower Records in L.A., but I never heard any of his music played on the radio, at least not in Southern California.

When it comes to 80's music., I can answer just about any question about artist/song/year with little information.

I personally have over 38,000 songs on my computer. I'am a serious collector of music and music related facts and information. I'am online an average of 30 hours a week. I would really like to be considered for an expert position.

I have an associates degree in music history
