actually it's only up until recently I actually realised that someone else other than Tim Scott sung this great tune from 1983.
enter: Sheena Easton & although I don't mind a number of her tunes - trying to produce Tim Scott's Swear was always going to be a toughy. I can't believe her version even made it to #80 to be honest - it was as BAD as bad could be .
I think to most ( if at all, people remember it ) Tim Scott's Version is probably the most known "Swear" tune.
Depends where one lives too I guess.

I grew on 80`s music and still listening to 80`s music as it is the best era in music history for me. My friends call me the walking encyclopedia of 80`s music. I got books & collections of CDs, all from the 80`s.
