Question
i've seen an old movie maybe done in the 80s entitled "white nights". there was a song featured in that movie, a duet. any idea of the title of that beautiful song?

Answer
i have viewed "white nights" more than twice. the plot was just as powerful (KGB, siberia, ballet...)as the characters love for dance overcomes their political differences. with a powerhouse cast too; mikhael barishnikov, helen mirrren, gregory hines and isabella rossellini. but i was more drawn to it's movie theme song, a duet done by no-less Phil Collins and Marilyn Martin, the song was "SEPARATE LIVES". the movie soundtrack also included songs from roberta flack, david foster, david pack, chaka khan and lionel richie ("say you, say me")who grabbed the 1985 Oscar Best Original Song for this film.

The 80s: a decade where the music was grand. i learned a great deal on the wonderworkings of new wave artists; those pop-rock ditties were remarkable, yet the laid-back love songs were always as good as it was then. as regards artists and their songs,i maybe of help though i'm partial to rap, country, and metal. I am also a smooth jazz junkie and may have infos to take you along a splendid music cruise in our time.
