I have an old vhs copy of the movie National Lampoon's European Vacation, and can not see the credits very clearly.  I have attempted many times to pause the screen and can't read the blurry letters.  I also have spent about two hours now trying to find the soundtrack or list of songs played in the movie, (none found). There's a scene where the family is in France (i think, my minds all mixed up now) and they are visiting a museum that has 15 minutes 'till closing.  So they show them moving in fast forward motion while looking at each painting.  There's a song playing, sounds like a fast pace french punk or something.  I love that song and have actually heard it at a couple of 80's clubs.  What is the name of that song and who sings it?!!! I'm going crazy.

I haven't really watched any of the 5 National Lampoon series. Not a big Chevy Chase fan. But I can provide you with a couple of answers. First one will be a song titled PROBLEMES D'AMOUR by ALEXANDER ROBOTNICK (aka MAURIZIO DAMI)recorded in 1983. MAURIZIO DAMI is an Italian music producer. The other one would be PLASTIC BERTRAND's CA PLANE POUR MOI from 1978. But I believe the most probable answer is the latter one, a minor hit back in June 1978 peaking at #47 on the Hot 100 Chart.
