         please try and find me the artist and name to this song, i have tried for 3 days now
trying to find it, i can remember some of the lyrics i don't know if they are in order but here goes,

let's do it together, move your body hit the floor.
         
this is quite a fast catchy disco song and also in the chorus where it says lets do it together it sounds like a robot type voice.

Cause I'm pretty sure that song is not too popular in the States, a lot probably don't remember it anymore, but here you are asking about it. I remember it was a big hit here in Manila back in 1981. But it came 2 years after PATRICK HERNANDEZ's BORN TO BE ALIVE, not in 1979 as you mentioned. Well, that song is MAMA TOLD ME by FANTASTIQUE. FANTASTIQUE is a "computerdisco" duo from Haarlem, Netherlands made up of DICK DAS and ASTRID LEUWERINGEN. Their song MAMA TOLD ME came from 1981 and was a big hit in Europe, especially in Holland.
