NICOLE was sung by POINT BLANK, a rock n' roll band hailing from Texas. Formed in mid-70's, they recorded six albums from 1976 to 1982. They are best remembered for this lone hit, NICOLE from their 1981 album AMERICAN EXCESS. Their line-up during that time consisted of RUSTY BURNS (guitar), KIM DAVIS (guitar), BUZZY GRUEN (gruns), BILL RANDOLPH (bass), BUBBA KEITH (vocals) and MIKE HAMILTON (keyboards). NICOLE peaked at #39 on the Hot 100 Chart on September 5, 1981. Here's how it goes:
