That was a better clue and it really is. There was your answer right there, TOUCH.

TOUCH is an American band formed from what was once the band AMERICAN TEARS who recorded three albums for Columbia Records in the 70's. MARK MANGOLD (vocals/keyboards), GREG BAZE (bass) and TOMMY GUNN (drums) was the line up that released two sets. By the third album, KIRK POWERS has replaced BAZE and GLEN KITHCART drummed for GUNN. KITHCART was kept by MANGOLD for his new band TOUCH adding CRAIG BROOKS (vocals/guitars) and DOUG HOWARD (vocals/bass). DON'T YOU KNOW WHAT LOVE IS appeared on their debut album TOUCH (1980). Soon after releasing TOUCH II, the group disbanded with MANGOLD forming a band called DRIVE, SHE SAID and working with the debut album of former BLACKJACK lead vocalist MICHAEL BOLOTIN (later MICHAEL BOLTON). MANGOLD wrote DON'T YOU KNOW WHAT LOVE IS as well as co-wroting with BOLTON the CHER hit I FOUND SOMEONE (Hot 100 #10, Mar. 5, 1988)
