It's been asked once before. The song would be HIGH FIDELITY (or HI-FIDELITY as some 45 single would print it) by THE KIDS FROM FAME. It was featured on the 1982 TV series FAME, a spin-off of the 1980 movie which catapulted IRENE CARA to...well, FAME. The lead vocals were done by singer-actress VALERIE LANDSBURY with LEE CURRERI and CARLO IMPERATO. Here's its lyrics:
