I guess I'm right, but are you talking about the song BOP GIRL by PAT WILSON. Regarded as a one-hit wonder, PAT WILSON was an Australian singer and music journalist. In the 80's, she released several singles including BOP GIRL, written by her then-husband ROSS WILSON who also appeared on its music video along with a young NICOLE KIDMAN. Here's its lyrics:
