hello once again idol Bong

I have always this one song in mind. No its not the one from Barbarra Streisand. I searched for it and only the one you can download is from the "Three Degrees". I wonder if you could help me who the other singer of that song wgich goes something like this:

So dont be sorry baby
I guess you think im crazy
but to be there when you want me
is enough
Im not a child im a woman
and a woman in love
loves only one man....

it was used to be played on mellow touch 94.7 during the 80's.
thanks a lot idol Bong,

Answer
Dear Bert,

WOMAN IN LOVE was an original by the Philly soul group THE THREE DEGREES from their 1978 album NEW DIMENSIONS. This is the more popular version. But the version you have in mind was sung by the late Ukranian-American soprano singer KVITKA CISYK (in the US, she was known as CASSIE, KC or KACEY). She did a version of WOMAN IN LOVE also in 1978. CASSIE also sung the movie version of 1977's YOU LIGHT UP MY LIFE (DEBBY BOONE did the pop version), meaning her version was the one used in the film. CASSIE died of breat cancer on March 29, 1998 at the age of 44.

Maraming salaamt po!!

Expertise

I can answer just about everything from the 80`s, rock, pop, trivias, artist infos, Billboard chart positions, albums, etc. But songs that became hit in the Philippines and OPM songs are my expertise. I grew on 80`s music and still listening to 80`s music as it is the best era in music history for me. My friends call me the walking encyclopedia of 80`s music. I got books & collections of CDs, all from the 80`s.

Experience

Let's just say music is my life and my source is a lifetime of knowledge about 80's music and then some.
