In the late 70s or early 80s, while I was living in St. Petersburg, Florida, I often heard rumors that the ABBA four were buying or building a home in the St. Petersburg area.  (Tierra Verde was mentioned specifically.)  Any truth to this?

Sorry but this rumour is not true!
ABBA never bought any properties outside of sweden.
When ABBA stopped, Agnetha bought a ranch outside jonkoping, sweden.
Bjorn bought a second house in london, england.
Frida moved to switzerland and Benny still lives in the same house in Sweden.
