Question With the Euro-Vision Song Contest this weekend, I wonder, with your expertises in Abba, if you could my country out. The Husovikovchivians have not made it past the first qualifing round since 1990 and we are usually laughed at. Can you tell me what makes a good Euro-Vision Song so I can pass this on HRH Istabka Susic, our King, who likes to be heavily involved with the event. Is bringing out our culture into the songs a good idea? Prehaps we should use our counrties long, proud history of teenage pregnancy and incorperate this into our song? Our country is relying on you as our neighbouring country and oldest rival, Baristovicikiev, made it into the quarter finals this year and we are deterrmind not to let it happen again.
Hope to hear from you soon,
Donald
Answer Well Donald, a good Eurovision song should mix a quick beat with jazzy outfits and a solid, pop tune that you can dance to. Make sure that your choreography is also spot on. Culture is important and especially effective when incorporated into the lyrics. Perhaps:
"She said that she was old enough
And now i think she's up the duff!"
Feel free to try basing a song around that next year (I wont charge copyright).Scantily-clad females can also win points...
I'm sorry to hear that Baristovicikiev always beat you(strange how they have kiev in their name- just like the host city this year...) I googled them but they don't seem to exist... neither does your country...
I have included some extra lyrics to try and help your Eurovision efforts, so thet you can be just like ABBA!!!
"Mary told me that she had a baby
She said that it was mine (maybe)"
CHORUS "OH, OH, OH, She's having another child,
Hey, Hey, Hey, Hope this one is not so wild,
Ah, Ah, Ah, Doesen't even know the dad,
'Well', She said it could be Bob or Brad!"
Good Luck!
