Question QUESTION: Hey, I heard the Classic Rock Cares is going to start up pretty soon again with Brian and Cliff which probably means AC/DC are doing nothing. Do you know if this is true?

What I know is that Cliff and Brian are playing at several gigs....and they always did so.
angus is almost ready with his new house in Holland, incl a recording studio in the basement.
Malcolm has his recordingstudio in London, were they made most of the new songs.
My info is that the album is sheduled for summer 2008, but I could already be out in march 2008 !
There are 18 new tracks recorded. So rumour talks about a double album at once.
In France there are 2 big concert-makers who are 'fighting' to get te contract for the new Ac/Dc world tour... It will be a very big show as they told!
First date that could be true is 13th June 2008 in England.
not confirmed! A special club apearence in Switserland is just a joke! it's not true.
At this moment the whole catalogue is rereleased in Japan with beatifull sleeves of all Ac/Dc album on Cd ! Great stuff!
Februari is the release of the last albums in Japanese pressing,.... so it seem they are preparing the Asian market for a new assault!
So that's all I know at this time;...

Lastly, My friend heard an interview with Brian that they are doing nothing and along with that the record company saying that AC/DC has done nothing so do you know what is all behind this?

ANSWER: Hey again.
there is a mobile-tone-business who gets all the Ac/Dc ring-tones in exclusivity + the rights to put the music on the net. Nothing special you would say, but this corporation told they also have te exclusieve internet rights for 18 new Ac/Dc songs.... So it means that there are new songs;...
Ac/Dc is now by Epic, no longer on Atlantic group. Since they are, there has been done a lot of work! Whole catalogue out on 180 gr vinyl, whole new pressings in Japan, Plug me in (already 5x platinum), whole new cd's for rest of the world. In january Back in Black gets 22 milion sales ! so the group is still busy...
Phil has not been condamned in New Zeeland for hitting his wife, because it would dammage the group business (so there are gona be some concerts;..) You have to put all stuff together to get the complete information.
The group will not do any statements, I suppose. It's not the kind of group for doing that.... The record company will do it as soon the rumours get to incorrect, then they say something to cool down;..
The more we talk about the group, the better the new CD will be sold! thant's the way off thinking in the Ac/Dc way....
But, before the summer, there will be no concerts (my meaning) You know, Angus has a doughter and a much younger son, who still goes to school (I think he must be around 11 years old) But that's a big secret. Angus don't talks about his family. Mal has 2 kids and when I folowed the group^in the States in 2001 I spoke to Phil's son. Brian still lives with his Eurasian wife, not so far from Cliff's home in Florida. There's always fun overthere...
And I suppose the house of Angus is ready now... The last picture I saw, only the garden has to be done there....

if this is all true about what you say then why is brian and cliff doing all these special gigs and things but getting down to business and actually recording or already recorded? I just think it would be nice if they said jsut something but you said summer to late 2008 album with a world tour to follow right?

yes, that's what I know... and Brian and Cliff do things to make money and to fill their time.
Phil still has his own business in New Zealand, where he also has his yacht... so just wait a little more.
the 2nd leg of the new Japanees editions is out. Next is the 3rd leg...and then I suppose we are ready to rock some new material...
