Hey Bill...glad to see someone else who is really into AC/DC. I've also got a nice collection of the band's past and present albums, dvds, various autographs, etc.

My question is, what do you think the chances are of AC/DC releasing another studio album, and doing another tour past Black Ice? Brian has said that his could possibly be the last album, but I took that with a grain of salt. Correct if I'm wrong, but they have fulfilled there contract with Elektra, and are on huge long-term deal with Sony. I would assume that there is a pretty good chance of them relasing one more studio album, and possibly even a greatest hits album.

What is your opinion and thoughts on the future of the band?

Thank you for your question. All though this is more of an opinion, as I do not know the current circumstances of the bands contract obligations, as they have since migrated to Columbia records.

I don't really see the band retiring any time soon, or at least it is not something that they have planned. I would hope they would do another studio album, but would think that another live album might be on their agenda before going to the studio again.

I possess one of the world's largest AC/DC collections, and plan to have my own publication about the band in the future. I was hired in 2008 by a marketing firm to help promote and market AC/DC's "BLACK ICE" release and the AC/DC "Rock Band" game in New York City. I also have participated in several other marketing and promotional campaigns for AC/DC. Most recently, I have contributed to a new book by Phil Sutcliffe "AC/DC: The Ultimate Illustrated History" as well as penning an AC/DC Collectibles article for Record Collector magazine (UK).
