Question
Hi Bill,
I remember seeing AC/DC during the summer of 1978 in Atlanta, GA.  I thought that the venue was Alex Cooley's Electric Ballroom, but I can not find a reference to a show there.  Maybe I'm just getting old.  Do you know where they played in Atlanta the summer of '78 and any chance that you may have a set list.  I'm pretty sure that "riff raff" was in the set, but that may be a figment of my imagination as well.  I really want to share this with my son (an aspiring guitar player).
Thanks
Frank

Answer
Hello Frank,

Thank you for your question. AC/DC performed in Atlanta on two different occassions in 1978. The first show was June 8th, 1978 at the Omni in Atlanta, GA. AC/DC were likely an opener (probably for Alice Cooper on this date, but unconfirmed). The other show was in August, on August 11th, 1978 at Symphony Hall, in Atlanta, GA, and AC/DC co-headlined with Cheap Trick for this event. The typical set list would have been something like this:
Live Wire
Problem Child
Sin City
Gone Shootin'
Bad Boy Boogie
Rock 'N' Roll Damnation
The Jack
Dog Eat Dog
High Voltage
Rocker
Let There Be Rock

As an opener, AC/DC would have done less songs, but nothing different from the tracks above.

Best Regards,

Bill
