G'day Bill,
The first concert I ever went to was ac dc at The Municipal Theatre, Rockhampton, QLD. I still have the ticket stub which is dated 26th January(or perhaps december it is away being framed with an RIP BON print at present), but does not have the year on it. Could you confirm that the year was 1977 or perhaps earlier, also what the value of the stub would be. Cheers and Long Live King Bon, Stevo !!!

Thank you for your question. I have not been able to confirm the date to any of my records actually, but the closest it looks like would be that it took place in 1977 during the "A Giant Dose Of Rock N Roll" Australian tour.

The stub could probably fetch over $40USD.

I possess one of the world's largest AC/DC collections, and plan to have my own publication about the band in the future. I was hired in 2008 by a marketing firm to help promote and market AC/DC's "BLACK ICE" release and the AC/DC "Rock Band" game in New York City. I also have participated in several other marketing and promotional campaigns for AC/DC. Most recently, I have contributed to a new book by Phil Sutcliffe "AC/DC: The Ultimate Illustrated History" as well as penning an AC/DC Collectibles article for Record Collector magazine (UK).
