Question
I have a question about the genre they are put into. It says they are heavy metal...They are actually classic rock. Am i right?

AC/DC have always considered themselves a rock 'n roll band. Since it's tradition for bands to get categorized into a specific group, I would tend to think that AC/DC would really fall into the "HARD ROCK" genre. But the band themselves have always claimed to be a rock band, and nothing else. Their heavier guitar riffs and powerhouse vocals tend to have critics grouping them into the heavy metal category since the 1980s, however AC/DC aren't a metal band. They were even called punk in the 1970's by critics.
