Question
QUESTION: Hi,nearly 30 years ago,for my 13th birthday, my brother gave me a High Voltage(the animated one with Angus and Bon on it,if that makes sense!)autographed by both Bon and Angus.
His wifes brother had recently been to see AC/DC(at Deeside leisure center,North Wales,GB,i think)on the last tour with Bon.He was a huge 'DC fan and also had a Highway to Hell cover autographed by the whole band which he kept himself.
I hav no reason to believe this is not a genuine article and was wondering if you could help me to value it and authenticate it,thanks,
         Harry,North Wales,GB

ANSWER: Hello Andrew,

Thank you for your question.
A "High Voltage" LP autographed by Angus Young and Bon Scott would be worth in the range of $500-750 USD on auction, depending of course on the quality of the signatures, and if there were any other messages written in addition to the names, or just the names only.

Best Regards,

Bill

QUESTION: Hi Bill, thanx for your answer. How would i go about authenticating prior to auctioning this item,i'd rather not use ebay.Thanx Harry

Answer
Hello Andrew,

If you want to authenticate an autographed item, it would be recommended to find an autograph authentication service that provides detailed authentication services including side by side analysis of original autographs, DNA tagging, and ink/medium analysis.

Best Regards,
Bill
