AC/DC/Is this the end?

Question
Hi Vincent,
I was surprised to see AC DC doing another sweep of the mid-west in the USA. I'm starting to wonder if this extended tour is the end of AC DC touring. I've heard possibly , that Brian Johnson is going to retire after this huge tour. I'm thinking of doing a road trip to Oklahoma City to see them on Nov. 4th 2009. Should I?  Will I regret not doing this? Please advise?

Answer
hello there,

yes, do it!
Brian has told Mal and Angus he would like to stop touring. He wants to get moRe time on the circuit with his racecars. Malcolm refused to let him go.
However the tour was originaly sheduled for 18 months.
Normaly they will do East-Europe in 2010. I was at Angus' house, and it will be ready at the same period.
I do think this could be the Last Ac/Dc tour. But I'm shure Angus and MAlcolm will still composing songs. Angus just build his own studio in the basements of his new house. Malcolm has his own studio in London. Cliff and Brian are thinking to stop... however Cliff is also producing local bands and he plays Bass-lines on some local recordings.
So, go to every show you can!

enjoy
