Question

Back of Ticket - with
I attended a gig at the Mayfair suite Birmingham on Mon Oct 1st approx 1977 (there is no year printed on the ticket) preseumed first ever gig in UK?. This ticket is signed in pencil by all band members i.e. Bon, Angus, Malcolm, Phil and Cliff. My cousin and I met the band backstage during the interval and then again after the end of the gig. My cousin was over here from Australia on holiday at the time. Please could you offer an estimate as to what value this ticket may be worth, as there were only 2 tickets signed at this gig, i have one my cousin has the other.  I have attached the signed side of ticket and have copy of front of ticket if you wish to see that. Regards Mark

Answer
Hello Mark,

Thank you for your question.

An authentic ticket stub with all 5 band member signatures such as this would likely fetch in the range of $300-$450 USD on auction to a collector. In an economy where collectibles were still valuing at higher rates, it could bring in an even slightly higher price.

Best Regards,

Bill
