Question
Hello Bill V.
Sorry to disturb you.
Could you help with some info on “Back In Black”, please?
My questions are:
1)what is the record label and the catalog number of the UK original LP issue of “Back In Black”?
2)what are the matrix numbers of the UK original LP issue of “Back In Black”?
3)does the UK original LP issue come with a picture inner sleeve, or a sheet, or a poster, or something like that?
4)Was the UK original LP issue gatefold or non-gatefold?

If there are any other special details that can help to determine UK 1st pressing, tell me about them, please.
Thank you very much in advance.
Sorry to disturb you.
Regards,
Maxim.

Answer
Hello Maxim,

Thank you for your question.
The original UK LP issue of AC/DC's "Back In Black" album is issued on Atlantic records, the catalog number for this release is K50735 and the record would have had the orange and green Atlantic label. The record would have included a picture inner sleeve (which was manufactured in Germany for the UK), and is a non-gatefold, as with all versions of the "Back In Black" album world wide.

Best Regards,

Bill
