Question

My Dirty Deeds Pic
Hi Bill V,
Way back in 1977 as a 16 year old boy I drew my own version of AC/DC's Australian release Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap Front and Rear Album Cover. Signed and dated by me 1977!
Do you know who drew the original AC/DC Dirty Deeds front and rear album cover in 1976?
I am keen to know who it is and if I need their permission or the record company's permission to release my picture to the public?
My picture is somewhat different to the original and I hope to make it available to AC/DC fans! Please find attached the image!
Kind Regards
Stuart E

Answer
Hello Stuart,

Thank you for your question.
The original Australian AC/DC album "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap" artwork was designed by Kettle Art Productions in Australia at the time (1976). The artist or artists involved in the concept and design are not specified, other than the company (Kettle Art).
Any right issues would need to be obtained through the publisher (Albert Productions, Australia).

Best Regards,

Bill
