Question
AC-DC Albert Labels
AC-DC Albert Labels
Hi Bill,
In my collection I have some AC/DC albums (vinyl LP) and this query is to have information about two of them: "High Voltage" and "T.N.T", both with the Australian Albert Productions label.
In attached you can find the pictures of their labels as reference.
They should be original first AUS pressing, if not so please let me know...

My first answer is about their inner sleeves: both records have the inner sleeves in plastic bag.
Are these sleeves the original one from Albert Productions?
If not, could you please provide me info about the original inner sleeves?

Then, for your info, I can grade the albums as follow:
- High Voltage: cover VG+ (edges & corners are pretty good, it has some minor ring-wear and a few creases but looks fine), vinyl EX+/NM.
- T.N.T: cover EX++, vinyl EX+/NM.
My second answer is: how much are they worth?

Thank you very much in advance!

Best regards,
Giorgio

Answer
Hello Giorgio,

Thank you for your question.

Yes, these albums are the original Albert releases from 1975, first pressings. The inner sleeves are also the original ones, which are the clear thin plastic inner sleeves that housed the vinyl records.

These albums in EX condition would be worth in the upper $50 (USD) range, perhaps a bit higher. The "High Voltage" since you grade the cover a little bit less may be worth around $35-40 on auction.

Best Regards, Bill
