Question
I have a ticket from the 1974 Hordon Pavilion Concert which was autographed by Angus and Bon. I would like to know how to get it valued and if possible could you tell me approximately how much it would be worth.

Thanks
Best Regards
Juliett

Answer
Hello Juliett,

Thank you for your question.
Any early AC/DC autographs that are genuine, and particularly Bon's autograph are valuable to begin with. An authentic Bon Scott autograph would be worth at least $150 (USD) and up , depending on various factors (clarity of the signature, whether or not anything else was written, the time period when the signature was obtained, the item the signature is on, etc.)

In addition, a very early AC/DC ticket from AC/DC's Australian club days would be valuable to a collector even without the signatures. It is difficult to say what it could bring on auction, but I would guess at least $100 if not up to 2 or 3 hundred (of course depending on the condition).

My best estimation for the stub, since it's signed by both Angus and Bon and is from AC/DC's early club days in 1974 could bring up to $300USD or more if put on auction. However, economic strain has greatly affected the collectors market, so unless you have a buyer who is currently seeking to purchase an item like this and has the funds on hand, that value could be a bit less depending on the circumstances. I hope this helps.

Best Regards, Bill
