AC/DC/AC/DC history

Question
I was quite an avid AC/DC fan in my youth and collected a few bits of memorabilia, which i am in the process of selling. Could you please give me some guidance to its worth. I have a AC/DC program from 1980 Back in Black tour. It is signed by Brian Johnson, I also have a menu of the hotel he was staying at which he also signed. The autographs are personalized to me. The hotel he stayed in is south of Birmingham,England at a place called Pershore. There was a rumor that a lot of the top bands had a hideaway at a local farmhouse. Any advice you could give to help value it and authenticating would be appreciated. Sorry for the life history bit.
Many Thanks

Answer
Hello Brian,

Thank you for your question. Items like these are most likely going to be more valuable to you on a personal level than you will find that they are valued monetarily.
The Back In Black tour program is a fairly common tour book, so the value of the actual program can fall anywhere from $12 to $25, maybe up to $30 depending on the condition. Since it is autographed by Brian, it would likely drive the value of it up to around $60. The menu is something that is generally not as collectible of an item (as are tour programs, photographs, album covers), so something like this may be worth around $35-40 at most.

Brian has a unique signature, and as far as I know, hasn't been forged often (as in the case with Bon Scott autographs), but as with anything, without actual proof (ie. Photos of the meet, or of the item being signed), there is no real true method to prove the authenticity one way or the other, aside from your word, or through a certified autograph agency.

Best Regards,
Bill
