Question
Im a big AC/DC fan. Expesially bon scott hes one of my musical influences. Im three months new to the internet and ive been going threw ebay to find a bon scott autograph but i kept waiting to find one that didnt seem fishy so today i just decided to punch in bon scott autographs and your site came in, and it floored me to find out 99% of the autographs are fakes. Im on the hunt for a bon scott autograph please tell me how to find one or the trick on finding the way he signed his name please im desperate and i live in canada so there is no were i can find one.

Hi and thank you for your question.
It would be suggested to avoid both ebay as well as other online auction sites and/or any autograph dealers. Many of the autographs being sold on the market are fraudulent, and many include "COA" (Certificate of Authenticity) by the dealer, which is nothing more than a piece of paper.

My best suggestion to obtain a truly authentic Bon Scott autograph is to find a long time fan who has met Bon to obtain the autograph personally, and even better has some form of proof to back it up, such as a photo from backstage or other location.

Keep in mind that a Bon Scott autograph is very hard to find, so when you see them being listed on online auctions once or up to 2, 3, 4 or more times per week, you should avoid those at all costs.

I have been a fan and collector of AC/DC for 30+ years and have written published articles about the band for Goldmine magazine, as well as several publications. I have interviewed past members of the band, and attended the bands Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction as a press guest. I possess one of the world's largest AC/DC collections, and plan to have my own publication about the band in the future. I was hired in 2008 by a marketing firm to help promote and market AC/DC's "BLACK ICE" release and the AC/DC "Rock Band" game in New York City. I also have participated in several other marketing and promotional campaigns for AC/DC.
