Question
this is going to be a long drawn out question.
about alittle over two years ago i had sex with sexworker in europe. didnt think much of it until i returned to the states and this girl who i started dating who is now my fiance. The first time on our date we deep toungue kissed. then a few weeks later she developed lymph nodes under her chin. i instantly freaked out. here is the timeline since then from the time i had sex with the prostitute.
2 months- negative elisa
3 months- negative rapid test HIV1/2
6 months- negative rapid test HIV1/2
8 months- negative elisa
10 months- negative rapid test
12 months- negative rapid test
25 months- negative elisa
soonn after this test I had to get an MRI on my shoulder and coincidentally they found some borderline enlarged lympd nodes(1cmm in diameter) on both sides of my neck and in my chest. I immediatly though HIV .
27 months- negative rapid test HIV1/2

my fiance reluctantly went for an HIV test at 3 months, and 24 months after we deep tounge kissed, they both came back negative. since then this one lymph node under her chin keeps appearing. The doctor thinks it may be due to calcium deposits and is sending her to get a catscan. are calcium deposites a sign of HIV?  I dont know what to think anymore , its consuming me. this only thing that makes sence is HIV but at the same time it doesnt because of all these negative tests.  is it possible for HIV to be trapped in your lymph node which is preventing the tests to come up positive?
what are the chances of HIV not being detectable yet alittle over two years? and one year for my fiance?
what about all the other tests? like the antigen test? or the PCR? is is nessecary?
thank you so much. i really appreciate it.

Answer
I really don't understand what you are concerned about- both of you have tested negative (you, repeatedly). That means you are NEGATIVE.

Whenever you get ANY kind of infection, lymph nodes can swell- it can be part of the body's immune response. Why you jump to the conclusion one of you has HIV is anyone's guess.

I dont know if you realize this or not, but this is a volunteer site- I answer questions for free in addition to my regular job. I do not have time to answer questions that are ridiculous or obvious.
