Question
Hello Sir, I would be most appreciated if you can answer to my questions. Actually i have been feeling a sharp poking inside my boots. (I mean the sharp poking feeling is inside the shoes(boots) that im wearing)i didnt notice much until one day, i noticed that the sharp feeling object in my shoes(boots) is actually a sewing type pin(Those pins usually use for sewing shirts)

My questions is;
1) Will i get infected this way?
- Its a sewing type pin & NOT Syrige used for injects.

Answer
Dear Fazly:

Peace and all good things to you.  Unless the pin broke through your skin, and your boots contained sufficient fluids - semen, vaginal secretions, or blood - from an infected person, you are at no risk of HIV transmission.  I recommend you go to www.avert.org or www.thebody.com to learn more about how HIV is transmitted, and how it is not.

Best to you and yours,

Terry
