Question
Well it was like this first I was given an oral sex with a condom on but I didn't ejaculate then with the same condom (I didn' removed it yet) on I penetrated in her vagina for 7-10 times and before I ejaculate I pulled out my penis and I was given an oral sex (3-4 seconds)(still with the condom on ) until I ejaculated .The condom wasn't ripped and it wasn't leaking.but my concern is this when I was taking of the condom I may have touched the tip of my penis with the outside of the condom (the surfece that is touching the wall of the vagina) then I zipped my pants!Then I smoked a cigarette with the same hand before washing it and I was touching my wallet my pants also and after 15 - 30 minutes I went to my bathroom and wiped the rest of the semen of penis with a toilet paper .And also I may have touched the tip of my penis with the same hand or finger which I have removing the condom before without washing it!!!! And I am also uncircumcised is that matter!!! So is there possible way that I got HIV if the girl was HIV positive!!!!
I know that the letter is long but please understand me I am terrified and I am in depression and I can't sleep at night!! So if you could response as soon as you can I will be very gratefull!!!

Answer
Dear Johnny:

Peace.  Thank you for your detailed question.  In reading, it appears that you have only a suspected exposure to vaginal secretions from a person of unknown HIV status.  The "might have" parts are numerous; it would seem to me that if you'd been exposed to a significant amount of vaginal secretions you would be more certain.  HIV isn't transmitted as easily as other infections, and I see no significant exposure except perhaps around the edges of the condom during your vaginal insertive sex, and this is just speculation.  Bottom line, there appears no significant risk and testing would not be indicated, except that being "terrified" about this might warrant testing for your own peace of mind.

Risk: None to very, very low
Recommendation:  Read up on HIV transmission at www.thebody.com and/or www.avert.org for broader understanding and risk reduction;
consider going to a voluntary testing and counseling center primarily to relieve your anxiety.

Best to you and yours,

Terry
