prior and even now, also i was circumcised in childhood your response will be greatly
appreciated."
AnswerHi Frank,
There will always be a risk of contracting any STI with anonymous intercourse. Since the event was 5 months ago, I would highly recommend having an HIV test done at your local STI clinic or primary care physician's office. Most clinics offer Oraquick Advance HIV testing which will have your results within 20-minutes. The test would accurately state whether you have or have not contracted HIV prior to February 2008. There is a new test call NAAT, which will determine if you've contracted HIV anytime prior to 2-4 weeks from the test date. If you were to have your test done today (24 April 2008), then the results would indicate whether you've contracted HIV prior to 24 March 2008.
I would also highly recommend a comprehensive STI screening, as HIV is not the only sexually transmittable infection.
