Dear sir
i am very worried about a incident which took place some days back. i had bit my lips and there was a cut between the lip and the teeth . now it was bleeding . but it stopped after one and half hour i met a girl in a club and we just kissed for a second lip to lip no wet kisses then she went away. but she came back and i again kissed her just lip to lip no deep smooching and no tongue to tongue kissing. it was just a wet lip to lip kiss second time aroung just for say 5 seconds as departing kissing no rough only smooth kisses. she was drinking alcohol .
1-now my question what is my exposure to the risk of getting hiv.
2-i have heard that hiv has to have setting to be transfered that if i have a cut and she has a cut then theu have to be rubbed together for some time and it has to have contimoues contact so that the virus goes through the blood stream .

Dear Sid:

Peace.  If she was infected and bleeding and your mouth was actively bleeding and you kissed, you have some risk.  That's theory.  Reality is that your chances of contracting HIV in what you describe is very, very, very low risk.   Go to www.avert.org or www.thebody.com and read more about HIV and how it is transmitted.
