I am very regret and concerned now. what's the risk for me to be infected? thank you very much!!

Answer
Dear KP:

Peace.  In a perfect world we'd be having this discussion before, not after your encounter.  Please go to www.thebody.com and learn more about HIV/AIDS, and learn more about yourself, as well, so as to both protect yourself/others and regret less.

HIV can be transmitted by way of semen, blood, and vaginal secretions; the risk increases with amount of semen (or blood) and frequency with which you are ezposed.  Oral sex, though less risky than vaginal or anal sex, is a risk for HIV.

I can't give you a percentage risk; I would recommend you learn more about your body and HIV at www.thebody.com and plan on being tested in six weeks; in the meantime protect yourself and others.

Wishing you and yours all the best,

Terry
