Question
Dear Sir,
I had sexual contact with a female one week back, whose HIV Status Unknown , I had put two condoms and one broke other one was ok, I am having sleepless nights after that. How can i check my HIV status? what could be the Immediate symptoms?

Answer
Using 2 condoms is LESS protective than using just one because the friction between the two increases the chance that they will break.

Using ONE condom correctly, is the best way to prevent the spread of HIV.

TO know your status, you need to seek an HIV test 1-3 months after the possible exposure. The only early symptoms of HIV infection are those similar to the flu but go away within a week or so.
