Question
if we smoke a cigarette which is injected with infected blood can cause HIV. can the virus survive and pass by smoke that we inhale. can the virus survive in the smoke heat. please give me complete details about it

Answer
Dear Kumar:

Peace.  Direct contact with fluids - blood, blood products, semen, vaginal secretions, and/or breast milk from an infected person are the ways in which HIV is passed from one person to another.  The 'complete details' are in the above sentence.  For more information on HIV and transmission, please go to www.avert.org - or www.thebody.com  both of which are great general sites for information.

Sincerely,

Terry
