Question
The skin of my penis peeled off because i masturbated while wearing my shorts. It was still a little cut and small amount of blood was coming out and i had unprotected sex with my girlfriend. What are the chances of contracting AIDS, STD, HIV. We both have not had sex with anyone else except each other also.
It'll be very kind of you to reply soon as this thing has been bothering me since some time now.

Dear Zuhaib,

Open cuts and wounds always imposes an additional risk of HIV and STD transmission if unsafe sex is practiced. If you and your girlfriend if "faithful" to each other, and none of you are HIV positive, then there is no risk of HIV transmission.

However, many women experience white vaginal discharge. Such discharge can be either normal or abnormal. Discharge is a common symptom with many STDs. With regard to STI's, discharges are infected fluids that spontaneously come out of the body. This can be bacterial infections known as candidiasis (a common infective cause of vaginal discharge that affects about 75% of women at some time during their reproductive life).

Thus, if your partner have such infections, there is a chance of your being infected as well. Using condom is a safer way to avoid those, especially when you have an open cut on your penis.
