Question
hey again thanks for the help. syphillis. primary stage. Can it  appear 3 to 4 days after infection, or always 2 weeks after infection???.  Also could it appear 2cm above the penis in the pubic area or is it always on the penis.?? And is it always just one/solatiry chancre, and is it pussfilled??? how long before the second stage would begin....????and wat is the likelyhood of infection through oral sex . thank you .

Answer
Welcome Charlie!

Hope you're fine.

Please find below the answers to your questions:

1. Generally the primary symptoms appear between 10 and 90 days after exposure (21 days on an average). However, days vary based on the immune system of the person exposed to risk factors.

2. Not necessarily the chancre will appear on penis only. The chancre appears at the spot where syphilis entered the body.

3. The primary stage of syphilis is usually marked by the appearance of a single sore (called a chancre), but there may be multiple sores.

4. The secondary stage usually begins weeks to months after the chancre sore appears.

5. Oral sex is one of the major routs of syphilis transmission (besides vaginal and anal sex).

Take care of yourself.

Gorkey
