QUESTION: hi i was wondering if having sex with and infected person in sea water could infect the other person as well. if the persons had sex for about 5 minutes.

ANSWER: Having unprotected sex ANYWHERE can lead to infection if one of the parties is HIV positive.

QUESTION: hi how long do a person have to wait to start seeings signs or syntoms and how long do a person have to wait to take a test to see if he/she is HIV positive?

Answer
HIV symptoms usually take years to develop. There is a 1-3 month window period with the HIV antibody test meaning that you could receive a false negative if you test within that time frame. It is recommended to wait at least 3 months after any possibly exposure to test.
