Question QUESTION: my girlfriend works in a clerical job in a hospital. she gave me a blowjob today. she had an ulcer in her mouth. she also fingered the penis hole with her nails before giving me oral. by the way her mouth sore was not bleeding though. what are my chances of getting infected. the whole activity did not last for more than 5 minutes & there was no visible bleeding from my penis hole.

Open sores increases the risk of HIV and STI transmission. Duration of sex act is not a significant issue here. IF she is not involved with any other relations, and does not have any kind of STIs, there is no risk of transmission. And not necessarily all the sores are symptoms of STIs or any other infectious diseases. Therefore, I think you can relax.

Thanks for coming back again.
CDC confirms that exposure to saliva uncontaminated with blood is considered to be a rare mode of HIV transmission. That means, if there is no blood coming out of her sore, there is no risk at all. Also, for your information, there is no known evidences so far that someone have been infected from saliva, that is uncontaminated with blood.
