Question hi I had sex with a prostitute wearing condom but later i realized it was torn, I didn't cum at all either her, afterwards i washed my penis with liquid soap and left, have I possibility of getting the virus, please help
Answer Dear Dener:
Peace. Your use of a condom reduced your risk for part of the act, but yes you have a possible exposure. The factors that affect risk include how long you were exposed, how much area, and your own disease status.
I would recommend a discussion with your doctor and ask for testing for a range of Sexually Transmitted Infections including HIV. Also see if there is a clinic specializing and possibly anonymous and free.
Please go to www.thebody.com or www.avert.org for more information on HIV transmission and how to protect yourself and your partner.
