am a guy who did lotta stupid things in his life and whatever i get was already written by god's hands and i deserve it
i believe in faith so yeah!
and i'll never do what i used to...
i had the test hiv-1 rna (qualitative) by pcr after 24 days of unprotacted vaginal sex with a girl
i dunno nothin abt her hiv status,
the result was

hiv-1 rna not detected. specimen is presumptive negative for hiv-1 rna


and 7 days later = 31 days a had another test called hiv rna viral load by real time pcr
the result was

NO HIV RNA COPIES WERE DETECTED


and 15 days later= 46 days i had the normal antibodies test
the result was
negative
and 12 days later= 58 days again the normal antibodies test
negative

HBs Ag NEGATIVE 63 dyas
hepatitis c antibodies NEGATIVE 63 days
VDRL (RPR)NEGATIVE 64 days
T.B.Abs.(Screan)NEGATIVE 64 days
Herpes Simplex- 1(IgM)<1:10 NEGATIVE 64 days
Herpes Simplex- 2(IgM)<1:10 NEGATIVE 64 days

are these tests enough?
should i be sure that am 100% not infected with any of STDs and HIV , m tired my life turned into hell??
please answer me Dr.

hi diav,

based on your description, you are not infected with hiv, hepatitis b, hepatitis c, syphilis, tuberculosis, and herpes 1/2. as long as you are sexually active, you should get tested for hiv and other sexually transmittable infections (gonorrhea, chlamydia, and syphilis) once every three months. there is no need to test for herpes unless you are symptomatic. you should get vaccinated for hepatitis b. there are other sexually transmittable infections; however, those are only done should you are symptomatic.
