Answer
hi diav,

it is normal for everyone who is sexually active to get tested every three months. it does not mean he or she is hiv positive. it is an internationally acceptable and recommended protocol. i've never been to nor do i know of the medical system in jordan. however, hiv pcr and western blot testings are essentially done with the same methods. once you are tested negative three months from the date of the incident, you were most likely not infected with hiv from that person you slept with.
