Question
i have been having a recurrences of yeast infection sometimes two time for a month. i read a article saying that one of the early signs of hiv.i have done a HIV test couple month ago and i did not have unprotected sex after my test or during my window period.i have no other signs of HIV i am worried

Answer
Yes, that is a sign of HIV infection but recurrent yeast infections can be caused by lots of things. If you used a condom correctly everytime you had sex you dont need to worry about HIV. You should see a doctor, though, to figure out what is causing the infections and find a way to stop them.

I have a friend who at one time was getting a yeast infection every other week- it seemed like she would treat one and then a week later get another. It turned out that her body was reacting to the lubricants on the condoms. It was trial and error but she eventually found that using non-lubricated condoms and astroglide solved the problem. My point is that they can be caused by lots of things.
