HI SIR,
       I had unprotected sex with a girl of my neighborhood whos having one more sexually active partner on 16 feb. after two months frm my exposure i got tested with a elisa test and the result was-

* ABBOTT AXSYM MEIA

HIV - 1&2 ANTIBODIES NON REACTIVE

* INTERPRETATION

HIV - 1&2 ANTIBODIES NON REACTIVE

Is this elisa test reliable after two months frm exposure ?? Or do i need a retest plz reply asap ....

Peace.  Abbott makes some reliable tests but you need use them according to directions.  Please call your testing and counseling center and give them the details you gave to me.  There are some other tests that can detect antigens or the virus - please talk to your health provider and/or the counselor at your testing center to learn your options.
