HIV - 1&2 ANTIBODIES NON REACTIVE

Answer
kulbir,

it means you were not exposed to hiv from the feb 16th incident; however, there are a few cases, 1 in a 100,000 cases, where the virus may not be detected until 6 months after exposure. the best test to ease your worries is the hiv nucleic acid amplication test. it detects hiv immediately after 2 weeks from date of exposure with a 99% accuracy.
