Hi,

I am very worried because I was having anal sex with I girl I had recently met (with a latex condom of course) and suddenly the girl started spurting an orange like or brownish substance from her anus. I immmediately assumed it was blood, but she told me it wasn't blood, she told me it was the mixture of lubricant with her feces, which sounds true, and when I smelled it is smelled like feces, but I am still very worried. I don't think it was blood because if it were, it would have been too much bleeding, and she told me again again that it wasn't blood, that it was impossible. Do you think it could have been blood? I am not worried about HIV because I was wearing a condom, but I am still worried it could have been blood, even though she insisted it was feces and lubricant.

Hi Jan,

It was most likely intestinal tract mucous that lubricates the intestinal tract to help individuals defecate with ease.

Since you are actively participating in anal sex, I highly recommend that you get vaccinated for hepatitis A.
