Question
Hi , I was in Indonesia on a business trip. I went to a night club where i met a girl and brought her to the hotel.
During our fideling initially she put my penis in her mouth. I immediately stopped her and wore a condom. I fingered her for 5 minutes and asked her to perform oral with the condom on. Then i came on her body with the condom. Am i HIV positive or what are my chances of being HIV positive..

Answer
Dear Mickey:

Peace.  Semen, vaginal secretions, blood, and breast milk are fluids that transmit HIV.  You describe manually stimulating her for five minutes, which placed you in contact with her vaginal secretions; this constitutes a significant exposure.  Your described risk from receptive oral sex seems very small as you used barrier protection and were exposed, from what I read, to her mouth and only for a short time.

Of course, if she is not HIV positive, you cannot contract HIV from her; the skin on your hands and fingers tends to be significantly thicker than on some other parts of your body; there is not risk to you from ejaculating on her chest.

Your HIV risk is primarily from the exposure to her vaginal secretions if she were infected.  Your "chances" are hard to estimate; this is not the highest risk but, as noted, some risk does exist.

I would recommend strongly that you see your health professional or seek out a STD/STI/HIV counseling and testing center to be tested for HIV and other Sexually Transmitted Diseases.

Given what you describe, your overall risk seems low; one exposure for five minutes - but knowledge is worth a couple of tons of guessing.

I wish you the best.
