AIDS/HIV on vibrator

Question
Codie,
Thank you very much for the answers and support. I really appreciate your help.
As I was not able to withstand the tension and anxiety I went to my family doctor and he ordered me to have a HIV Test next week and another in 6 months

1) Another important question is,  on the threading of the battery cap of the vibrator, there was some creamy substance in the color of semen. It might actaully be a cap lubricant. What is the chance that it is un-dried semen or vaginal fliud?

2) Lysol says it only kills HIV1 on pre-cleaned environmental surfaces. Does it mean Iam at risk of HIV2?

3) Call me Crazy, but Iam keeping my Kids away from me for the fear of infecting them through daily casual contact. What do you suggest to do for the next 6 months.

I actually called the online store that shipped me these toys and they are saying that they never sell used produts.
But I cant believe that from their packaging.

Please, please, please answer the above the questions.

Thank you very much for the reply.
You said "you have nothing to worry ..." and then you said "most likely no get HIV ...". Does that mean there is some likelyhood ? Iam really nervous!

-----Question-----
I recently ordered a couple of vibrators recently. The toys actually came in a
box, but the manufacturer package in the box is broken. Another toy is actaully
in a ziplog bag.
If these were previously used, what is the chance that HIV is live and active on
those toys? It would have at least taken 2 days to ship them to me. Will the
Virus be live that long on the sex toys? Of course I sprayed Lysol on them
before using. But there might have been a paper cut on my finger when I touched
the toy before spraying Lysol
-----Answer-----
You have nothing to worry about.  HIV needs a living source in order to live.  Grant you that its nasty that someone would use it before giving it to you and I don't blame you for cleaning it, but you will most likely no get HIV or any other STD.
-----Answer-----
It was a typo its supposed to say not.  I cant tell you that you will never get something because there is a possibility I could get wrong.  BUT however I am 99.9999999999.....% sure you're ok.

Answer
You have every right to be worried.  However, the virus cannot live without a host after so long.  You should test yourself just to be sure because their is always that little percentage.  As for not being around your kids, if you were to have it they cannot catch it from you unless there is sexual activities involved or they get a cut on them and your blood gets into their system.  I don't see that happening so I think you are safe with your kids, I know you're safe with your kids.  My advice to you is to breathe push this thought to the side and try to live your life until you can get tested.  You should try to not worry yourself over something like this until you know for sure because stress can cause symptoms that aren't there.  Psychosomatic symptoms are very normal for people who fear they have something.  That is where you think you have symptoms of something but you really don't.  Remember if you start to think this that most people don't show symptoms until later on after they have been infected.

Experience

I am attending school for my licenses to teach in Cell and Molecular divison, this is a recent change in my career I was going to school for surgical technology. We have to know all about STDS and other diseases. My personal experience is I have HPV. It is not AIDS or HIV but it is a STD that can cause cancer. I had to deal with the stages of feeling dirty and unworthy and scared. I think that I can help people get past this and further their knowledge of HIV and AIDS.
