Question
Can I contract AIDS/HIV by getting manicures and pedicures ?
What should nail tech sanitize there metal impalement's with to prevent any infectious diseases such as HIV/AIDS ?

Answer
The risk is extremely minimal. Anytime infected blood enters another person's body, transmission is possible but the likelihood of that happening via nail instruments is very small.

I dont know what is standard procedure at such salons but autoclaves as well as bleach will sanitize instruments.
