AIDS/STDs

Question
Hi...

I just got tested for STD's and everything came back negative, but a couple days before, I had skin to skin contact with someone and now I'm worried. As far as I know no fluids were exchanged, except maybe mine to him, but I'm scared. He was against me and very close to direct contact, he may have come in small contact for a second or two, but there was no intercourse. Should I be worried about this? Or should I be tested again in three months?

Thank you so much,

Sam

Answer
Dear Sam:

Peace and all good things.

Contact of intact skin (skin to skin contact) does not constitute even a significant exposure - therefore no risk.  Testing again in three months is unnecessary without a significant exposure. Your testing for STD's arms you with knowledge about your own health status and as you look at your experiences, I would recommend you consider carrying a condom with you in the future, just in case.

Hope that helps.  All good things to you.
