Question
if u have hpv or genital warts do u get bumps in or near the vagina that itch? if so is it hpv. or is it warts? how would i know

Answer
HPV doesnt itch, it does however cause yeast infections that make you itch like crazy.  Take it from an expert I have had it for almost a year and I keep yeast infections.  Yes it does cause warts, HPV is also known as genital warts.  You can find out by having a pap smear done.  It lives in your skin so a blood test cannot determine if you have it.  It is really important to get checked out if you think you have HPV because certain strains lead to cervical cancer.

Experience

I am attending school for my licenses to teach in Cell and Molecular divison, this is a recent change in my career I was going to school for surgical technology. We have to know all about STDS and other diseases. My personal experience is I have HPV. It is not AIDS or HIV but it is a STD that can cause cancer. I had to deal with the stages of feeling dirty and unworthy and scared. I think that I can help people get past this and further their knowledge of HIV and AIDS.
